Hey there! I’m Lauryn, the hands and heart behind Goose Goose Stitching.

For years, I was stuck in a cycle of deadlines, meetings, and spreadsheets, feeling like something was missing. One evening, after a particularly long day, I picked up a piece of fabric and started sewing (something I hadn’t done in ages). And just like that, it clicked. I felt joy, creativity, and a sense of purpose I hadn’t felt in a long time. That moment changed everything, and Goose Goose Stitching was born.

The name Goose Goose comes from my dog, Lucy, who was better known as Goose Goose, Goosey, Gooselina, and Stinky (the list could honestly go on forever). She was, and I do not say this lightly, my mini me, and although I knew that I wouldn't have her forever, it was really hard to envision my life without my little shadow. When she was diagnosed with cancer last fall, I knew I wanted to find a way to honor her. This business is, in part, a tribute to her, a way to carry on her legacy of love, comfort, and the joy she brought into my life every single day.

Now, I spend my days creating handmade bags and accessories that are meant to do more than just look good. They are made to bring a little joy, a little meaning, and a lot of heart into your everyday life. Every stitch is done with care, every design is made with intention, and every piece tells a story.
